Ticino Petrol station

Ticino national park on the Lombardia region in Italy is traversed by a highway connecting airport to Milan. A big demand for a petrol station along the way generated the opportunity to design a raw model for a new standard on sustainability for such use.

The project promotes the site as crossroad between the local walking/cycling traffic between two neighboring cities separated by the highway and the airport/ Milano traffic.

Restaurant and shop are designed to act as a selling space for local products and, raised from the highway level , to bring to the driver a feel of the local community.

Over the foot bridge across the highway a green bridge promotes a safe crossing to the wild life.
